It is high time a condensed, summary of salient issues about a mutual fund is made available to prospective investors. There is no question that virtually nobody reads much of anything in a full prospectus, so far from limiting needed information for investors a summary prospectus will instead enhance their understanding of a fund in which they are or may be investing.
