December 27, 2022 A truly free, and fair market requires transparency. For financial markets to function properly institutions must report regularly, and honestly. Otherwise accurate price discovery is impossible. If certain parties are exempt from reporting their books, or are allowed to delay reporting, then said parties cannot be assessed accurately from a financial perspective. The proposed rule: File No. S7-25-22 is a step in the right direction towards a more free, fair, and competitive financial market.
