Dear Sir/Mam:

I belive that people of all income levels shopuld have equal opportunities to make the same investments. These investment opportunities should be limited by the market, not the government. I have accumulated my current respectable net worth though many years of taking advantage of good investment opportunities. Changing the limit for an accredited investor to $2.5 would take away some of my investment options that I feel should be open to all people. Of course this is an oversimplification top make a point, but I believe that unsophisticated people would not flock into the market to by Hedge Funds were they given the opportunity. They prefer to spend their paychecks on lottery tickets, where they do seem to be too unsophisitated to understand their chances of a return on their investment. Restricting our investement opportunities for our own good is wrong, and hypocritical. Please do not raise the limit.

Thanks,

Stan Carson
