Amy,

I am writing in support of a strong final rule to implement Dodd Frank Section 1504, requiring US-listed mining, oil, and gas companies to disclose their payments to governments around the world. This rulemaking is critical for investors in this sector. While the provision has global anticorruption purposes, it is critically important for investors in this sector to understand the role extractive companies play in the countries where they operate.

I understand the commission has received numerous evidenced-based submissions in the current record arguing for a stronger rule, including submissions from civil society, investors, anti corruption and legal experts.

Specifically, I request that you recommend that the Commission delay any vote on this rulemaking to ensure a thorough and thoughtful review of the record overwhelmingly in favor of a strong rule.

Thank you for your consideration.
