I am not sure why the SEC is trying to regulate investing in leveraged and inverse funds. This is a dangerous precedent to set, as there should not be limits to those who wish to invest in these funds. Most investors are aware of the risks involved in any investment. I have studied these funds as I study any potential investment, and I have had good success in my investments. I do not think it is good for the SEC to single out a certain fund or investment style to tighten up on the regulations. What would be next? ETF's or Options or Futures?? Please do not begin to restrict the ability of investors or brokers to invest in leveraged or inverse funds.
