Dear SEC,

I wholeheartedly disagree with the proposed regulations designed to make it more onerous for investors to have access to inverse and leveraged funds or to restrict access altogether.

These funds are essential tools for hedging portfolios against volatility and market risk as well as enhancements to potential capital gains. These funds should be part of strategic positioning in any portfolio, in my opinion.

Why stop here? If you really want to prevent investors in capital markets from being exposed to risk, why not shut down the publically traded markets and put an end to capitalism as it currently exists?

Maybe it would be better yet to have a totally socialist state with nothing but state owned entities.
