I believe that these changes would be very harmful to small investors and only wealthy people and institutions would benefit from this change. As a small investor, I know very well the risks linked to this kind of investments and it is for this reason that only small portions of my assets are in this kind of investments.
I have read a lot about this type of investment and I really do not want and need big SEC regulations restricting their use.
If you take this tool away from small investors, you reduce the number of tools at our disposal and increase the risks because we will have more difficulty diversifying our investments.
