My children and I have been holding leveraged ETFs since 2010. We've never taken short position in any security nor have I personally engaged in puts and calls since 1981. I want to teach my children to invest, not to trade or gamble. To me, leveraged ETFs are just another high beta stock. One just have to recognize its volatile nature. They don't go bankrupt and they enhance our returns. So please, I don't want anybody to prevent me from buying them or to evaluate my ability to understand them.

In a free market society, investors always take risks. I can't understand why you need to interefere with our freedom to decide for ourseleves our risk tolerance and to buy publicly available securities.
