I am against the SEC's proposed regulations for the leveraged and inverse funds. The purchase of a leveraged or inverse fund should not be bogged down in (more) government regulation. I use these funds to hedge positions and for speculation but I never risk more than I can afford to use. I think they're great products. It's up to each and every individual to educate themselves prior to purchasing any investment product. The school of hard-knocks is the best educator. Investors need to be self-reliant. That's what the prospectus is for. We don't need more nanny-state governance.
