I am fully capable of reading and understanding a prospectus for a possible fund that I am interested in purchasing. I do not need to have someone else (the government) making that determination for me based on their analysis of my financial position.
I believe the SEC should focus their resources on identifying crimes made by insider information (especially government official and their spouses) instead of trying to control individual investor decisions
