I'm writing to let the decision makers in the SEC know that I'm strongly opposed to the proposed changes that would make it more difficult to invest in leveraged and inverse funds. While I don't always use leveraged funds, I've used them quite frequently in my years as an investor so as to boost my portfolio performance. Were my access to them taken away (or made more difficult), it would negatively impact my financial future.

I'm fully aware of how leveraged funds work and view them as a valuable portion of my portfolio (despite their slightly riskier profile). After many years in the market, I believe I'm competent enough to make my own investing decisions and am not in favor of the government taking away the right to make my own decisions. I do not believe the government should be able to take away or restrict my choice in this matter.

Please consider this as you make your decision in the upcoming weeks. Thank you.
