I do not understand this concern. I can buy and sell options and do complex options trades but I cannot do buy and sell decisions on simple leveraged and inverse funds? There are extremely dangerous stock offerings out there that can be bought and sold by novice investors and traders at the risk of losing entire invested amount but a leveraged ETF or an inverse ETF is too dangerous? They behave exactly the same way as a volatile stock would but I see no movement from SEC to ban average investors from trading volatile stocks. A nanny government is good for the employees of the government, but you are suffocating the life out of the citizens you are supposed to serve. Go find something better to do with your time like screwing around on the company time. I will be willing to pay taxes for you to do that if you leave me alone.
