Friends- Regarding your proposal to regulate the purchase of inverse and leveraged funds, I share these comments, and I thank you for considering them.
I am retired and a small retail investor. I applaud your efforts to protect retail investors from dangerous transactions. I suggest that when an investor wants to buy an inverse or leveraged fund, that a warning appear advising the investor of its dangers, and requiring the investor to agree that they've read it and understand it. Other than that, I don't feel that the SEC needs to restrict an investor's choices.
