I am very upset at the prospect of losing my right to invest in leveraged ETFs. Leveraged ETFs have become a central aspect of my investing method, and I have done very well with them. I understand how they work, the risks and the benefits, and do not want a third party stepping in to decide if I am intelligent enough to use them. The idea of government imposed limitations to my ability to invest in whichever entities I wish seems to be just one more step towards a market that is anything but free. This is the United States, is it not? We are not China.
