I experimented with LI funds quite a few years. I decided that they did not fit in with my expectations of how they were supposed to work. I have not owned any of these funds for many years. I do however value the freedom to use any funds that are available on the open market. I resent the sec or anyone else Deciding what I can and cannot purchase. For instance I drastically resent that I cannot buy into hedge funds simply because I don't have enough money to satisfy their standards. That is discrimination by any description. The less I have to deal with big brother the better I like it.
