The SEC proposal regarding additional restrictions on investor purchases of leveraged and inverse funds is burdensome and unnecessary. There is no problem or issue that the SEC has put forward that requires additional regulations. I, as an investor, do not want. nor do I need, any additional third party imposed restrictions on investor freedom of choice to buy public securities. Having been an investor for many years I understand leveraged and inverse funds and how they perform. I do not want, nor do I need, any further SEC restrictions on these types of investments. Leveraged and inverse funds are important in an investors pursuit of enhanced profits and also provide a method to help protect the value of your overall investment portfolio.
Do not further burden the investment community with any additional regulations and restrictions particularly those for which there is no need or justification.
We, the people of the United States, continue to have our freedoms eradicated. It is time to stop the take-aways.
