I'm your typical middle class investor. I've been making my own investment decisions for many decades and getting better in making decisions. If, for example, you were to take away these investment opportunities, then during market downturns like what we are experiencing now would be much, much worse. I'm 100% positive that you do not know how the computer works internally. I'm a software engineer and I do know. Yet, you are allowed to use a computer even though there is a risk that you could really mess things up. By all means, regulate the industry to make sure everything is legal and on the up and up. But don't kick your duty of responsibility into my yard by taking away investment opportunities from the average middle class investor that we are using wisely.
