I was a financial advisor for 35 years. I feel that this proposed rule would take away my right to invest my money as I wish and that when you start bringing rules like this into the world of trading it becomes a slippery slope. This would set precedence for other rules to piggyback off of. Most brokerage firms have already restricted these securities which is why I buy them in my ETRADE account. So youre telling me that you want to take away one of the only avenues left to buy these securities? The job of the SEC is not to hinder peoples ability to invest as they see fit.
