I am disturbed by the proposal that would take from me a significant opportunity to protect my investment portfolio and secure my financial future. I see this as totally unnecessary, and it concerns me greatly that someone would sit in judgement of my ability to make investment decisions for myself or to judge my ability to understand the risks and rewards of such decisions. The last time I checked, we still live in the United States of America where individuals have the freedom to take risks and realize the benefits and consequences of those choices. This proposal seems totally contrary to the principles of self reliance on which this country was founded, and I STRONGLY urge you to abandon this proposal.
