if SEC allows options and futures trading for individual investors they should allow trading of leveraged etfs.
these funds are easily monitored everyday and easier to understand than options and futures and much less risky than futures. I monitor my positions during trading hours and at the close.
the risks are easily understood in the prospectus.
brokerage firms should NOT be allowed to decide if someone should trade them. Again if no such requirement exists for options and futures it is ridiculous that they should exist for leveraged etf.

leveraged etfs are the safer than options and futures. by banning them SEC would be encouraging more risk than less.
