I have been investing for decades and am concerned about the SEC proposal concerning Leveraged and Inverse funds.
My financial Institution has provided much information concerning the risks of these types of investments. I am fully aware of these risks, including long term holding, and still choose to invest a portion of my money using these leveraged accounts.
Personally, I follow all of my investments on a daily basis and feel that I can make investing decisions on my own without an institution interfering in my personal rights regarding this.
I have been using leveraged and inverse funds for a number of years now and have plans to use them appropriately in my future investment plans as I see fit.
