Leveraged ETFs allow me to make short term to medium term gains based on the overall market or sector moment either upwards or downwards.
Personally the pro shares 3x bear sp 500 etf has allowed me to make a gain during the 2020 sell off.
This has allowed me to hold on to my blue chip SP 500 stocks even though they are showing a unrealized loss during this same period.
The prospectus provided is adequate to let me understand the leveraged ETF Im investing in. There is no reason to restrict these ETFs more than non leveraged ETFs.
