I would like to state that that I understand the risks involved in the inverse and leveraged ETFs. I have been using these for years. These ETFs have risks and rewards just like common stocks and need to be monitored the same way.
Imposing regulations on qualifications of the buyer may create confusion and difficulty for the Brokerage houses.
I have noticed that warnings regarding the risks for these ETFs come up on the screen when I place an order to buy. The warning clearly states the risks and also mentions that these ETFs should be used for a very short period of time.
I think that these ETFs should be available to all.
