As a budding new investor I feel very strongly that the government has no right to decide for me whether or not I am capable of investing in leveraged and inverse funds. If they can remove these funds, what would stop them from removing any fund they disagree with in the name of "consumer protection". What's to stop the government from removing a fund with lots of exposure to companies outspoken against a certain political party? Please don't move forward with setting this dangerous precedent.
