The purpose of this communication is to express disapproval of proposed changes that will restrict private investor ability to trade leveraged and/or inverse funds as outlined in Release No. 34-87607.
For over 15 years, I've utilized these investment vehicles as an integral part of my personal wealth management strategy. Removing my access will bar me from funds, including derivatives, that permit me to add insurance to my investment portfolio. This represents an unreasonable burden to me personally and increase risk to the security of my future.
Rather than provide protections, I perceive your proposed changes as outlined in Release No. 34-87607 to be a threat the financial stability of me and my family. For this reason, I request most strongly that the SEC cancel the proposed changes described in Release No. 34-87607.
