I am completely opposed to these proposed rule changes. As an individual investor, I need the choices provided by leveraged and inverse funds in order to protect my portfolio.
I am a competent investor and don't need to have my hand held in making these choices. I do not need or want a third party having veto power over my investment choices.
Free markets are not free if third parties have the power to intervene in my investment choices.
