I am writing to express opposition to SEC proposed regulations to restrict individual investors from buying leveraged and inverse funds.

Investors who can benefit from these funds will be prevented from buying due to an overly burdensome qualification process.

The SEC has not demonstrated that there is a problem that needs this solution.

The proposal contradicts our system that gives investors and their advisors sole discretion in their investment decisions.

Leveraged and inverse funds are important to me.

I am capable of understanding their performance characteristics, and I dont want a third party evaluating my skills.

I want to preserve the long-stranding tradition of free public markets without government interference.
