I have built a retirement plan which includes a small percentage in leveraged stock funds. The stock funds prove a valuable asset when managed and hedged properly, which I have. Changing the rules for investments several years into my plan is an example of the government overstepping it's bounds. I'm a self-made middle-class family trying to responsibly pay my mortgage, my children's college, and my retirement portfolio. The government should not be restricting the tools and changing the rules after the game has started.
