Dear SEC,
I am a middle class individual investor and I use leveraged and inverse funds to protect my portfolio and also enhance my returns. These funds are so important to me and my family. I am capable of understanding how these funds work and the risk involved. I do not want a third party to control my decisions and I do not need anyone to protect me from myself.
I should have the freedom to make my own investment decisions and how much risk I want to take. I think that some single stocks are much more volatile and risky than these leveraged funds. The free market should be allowed to operate freely. Please do not take away these funds and continue to allow investments into these funds.
