To whom it may concern,
I use leveraged products as a key part of my financial plan, and having free access to use these funds according to my own best judgement is very important to me. They have improved and will continue to improve my performance over the long term. I understand how these funds work, the special risks they carry, and the volatility that magnification can cause. It is due to these very features that I have an interest in and regularly purchases shares/options on these funds.
I am particularly bothered by the idea that funds of this kind might be restricted to accredited or wealthy investors only. It is challenging enough for an individual investor of modest resources to make meaningful gains in the market to remove these hedging tools from all but the wealthiest only puts them at a further disadvantage.
In short: please keep leveraged funds available to all investors.
