These etfs are a godsend for the small investor/trader. I think most self-directed investors are aware of the risks here (decay, volatility, etc.) considering we have received a prospectus describing those risks when purchasing shares. I have lost money buying stocks at times for all sorts of reasons from bad earnings to bad press releases to CEO embezzlement....not kidding. Ironically, these etfs have effectively lowered my risk by allowing me to capture nice returns in a short period so I dont need the individual company risk to outperform the market. Please dont limit my ability to participate just because I am not an accredited investor. I am fully aware that the most I can lose is my initial investment, just like a any stock.
