I have been successfully investing in Leveraged and Inverse Funds for many years.
The leveraged and inverse funds I invest in are important to me as they allow me to seek enhanced returns and occasionally help protect my portfolio as hedging instruments.
I am experienced with these types of funds and am therefore capable of understanding their performance characteristics. It would be disturbing to have a third party evaluating my capability and potentially preventing me from buying them giving that I have many years of experience with them.
I would very much prefer that the free market where investors have the freedom to buy securities without additional government-imposed limitations be preserved.
