Dear Commissioners,
I am shocked to learn that the SEC would consider curtailing the free market. One of the cornerstones of a free democratic society is an open market. This is a dangerous proposal. What criteria would you use to judge who would be allowed to invest in these funds. How much personal information would an investor have to submit, and to whom, to be allowed to buy these products?
This proposal is fraught with the possibility of abuse.
