I am a "semi-retired" private individual ACTIVE investor / trader. I worked in the financial services industry for 30 years before moving into my semi-retirement 10 years ago.
One of the KEY reasons I've been able to be semi-retired and being an ACTIVE individual investor / trader is because of the availability and ease of buying and selling leveraged etfs.
Your proposed new regulations on leveraged and inverse funds would have a VERY NEGATIVE impact on my investing strategies and would accomplish EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE of your intentions.
PLEASE DO NOT ENACT THESE PROPOSED NEW REGULATIONS
