I own several leveraged funds. Some at 2x and some at 3x. This is for a small part of my portfolio where I am willing to take a higher risk for a greater possible reward. I am fully aware that the risk of loss is magnified as well but that is my choice for this part of my investments. I would be very disappointed in the SEC if they were to remove or impair my ability to buy into such funds which satisfy certain needs in the investment marketplace.
