Dear Secretary,
I have been investing as an individual investor for more than 20 years. One lesson that investors like me learn relatively quickly is that investing in equities in inherently risky. I am glad that there are already a lot of regulations that mandate that those risks are disclosed.
Accordingly, as long as risks in leveraged and inverse funds are disclosed, I see no reason for further regulation. As an investor, it is my duty to educate myself about the risk, and I do not want additional barriers to investing.
Thank you for your consideration.
