The regulation of leverage trading it seems to be a totally arbitrary decision by another bureaucrat and will neither benefit or protect anybody. All those trading leverage and inverse funds, knows the risk. Instead of regulating this small things in the overall picture of the financial world , maybe the energy should be directed to enforcing those involved in financial crimes.
These regulations are 1) bad for investors, the proposal it will only benefit few and it will cause unnecessary problems for brokerage firms. 2) These are unnecessary y are regulations. There is not problem needed to be solve , why these funds need to be treated different than any other funds such as ETF, mutual funds and many others. 3) This totally unfunded arbitrary regulation by an uneducated bureaucrat will set dangerous precedents for future regulations at the whim of anybody.
