The ability to trade in leveraged and inverse funds is an excellent way for the informed investor to make investments. It has allowed me to not have to use options that will expire and attempt to time the market vs. understanding larger market movements without a large concern about expiration dates. For me this has reduced my risk and made it much more manageable vs. buying leaps and guessing when a particular group or market will make its movement. This has also helped my liquidity and ability to invest for the long term. This is a great tool in securities management and we should not make it difficult to utilize. It is a free market and we need to keep it that way.
