Dear Sir or Madam, I am an investor/shareholder in ProShares, which is a leveraged mutual fund that uses the SP 500 as it's backbone for investment strategy. I am approaching retirement and investing in this fund has helped me realize that I can probably retire sooner rather than later. I have been very happy from the results of my investment in UPRO, so much so that I have recommended to my son that he consider this as his first investment now that he is fully employed. I see no reason why he should be restricted from making an investment in this leveraged/inverse fund. We are both educated investors that read and understand the fine print in a prospectus, and can study the market research as well.
