I am appalled that the SEC is considering restricting the right of individuals to make their own choices about which funds they can invest in without having to deal with burdensome regulations. I believe all free adults who do not have a mental handicap should be free to invest in whatever funds, including leveraged and inverse funds, they deem appropriate for their goals and risk tolerance. These proposed rules are unnecessary, paternalistic, and an insult to the intelligence of the American people.
