As technology gets better and information is easier to obtain, consumers should be able to take advantage of these progressions and have as many tools at their disposal as possible to achieve those financial goals. This proposed rule will inhibit the choice of consumers and hinder progress toward financial independence. The SEC should not be focused on limiting the products available to consumers but rather exposing fraud, deceit, and thievery by public companies and money managers.
