I am concerned that if the proposed rule #S7-24-15 it will impact my choices as a retail investor.
I use ETF's such as the Profund and Direxion family of leveraged and inverse leveraged ETF. As I understand it, this proposed rule will impact my ability to use these instruments as part of my portfolio. These funds allow me as an individual investor a simple way to invest specific sectors. The leveraged funds give me an easy way to benefit from instruments that would otherwise be unavailable to small investors.
Through the prospectus and other materials the funds are well documented with both risk and rewards.
Subsequently I feel that the parts of this role that impact the availability of leveraged and inverse ETFs are not needed and are regulatory overkill.
