Inverse and leverage etfs are crucial and very beneficial to portfolio returns. Example having a strong view on interest rates declining has enable long positions in treasury securities that have greatly enhanced portfolio returns.
Also the ability to add a leverage etf position to a portfolio and get much more exposure while spending 2-3 times less money for that exposure is very beneficial. Please continue to allow us the freedom to choose any investment wed like and not impose government restrictions on what we can and cannot buy. The risks are clearly laid out when an investor purchases and inverse or leverage etf.
