Sirs: As a private investor for over 30 years, I strongly object to the proposed regulations regarding purchase of leveraged and inverse funds. I have personally used such instruments successfully to greatly increase my retirement savings. These securities provide a multiple of returns on investment decisions without having to engage in options trading, which I consider to be much riskier. In addition, a fundamental principle of capitalism is free choice for an investor in fact that is the very bedrock what makes capitalism work. Please to not try to "protect" me from these well-established investment vehicles.
