The proposed regulations are completely unnecessary. I am aware of my investment risks know how to control risk in my portfolio. This would represent an egregious privacy intrusion and would hinder my ability as an investor to hedge and mitigate risk in my portfolio. I should be able to freely choose what investment instruments I use and for what purpose without any constraints of any kind. Is this Big Brother surveilling individual investors now? A very ominous development that is completely unwarranted.
