I was dismayed to hear there is a proposed new regulation that may limit my access to leveraged ETF investments. I use these investments to provide exposure to entire sectors of the market, such as health or technology, while not having to trade in individual options or have a personal margin account.
Ive found them to be a responsive, useful part of my portfolio thats provided me with extraordinary returns over both short and long term.
While I am not a professional investor, I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and how they perform.
I do not see the need to have a third party applying some sort of formula regarding my investing expertise or profiling me as an investor in any other way, which could prevent me from purchasing these funds.
Please dont limit my choices by putting regulations in place that could reduce my access to these types of investments.
