I'm confused why the SEC is trying to hamstring the small investor who makes his/her own investing decisions. When markets are overly priced, and risk on is in high gear, you want to take away our tools to earn monies on inverse market conditions. I feel the SEC is over stepping their authority, and at the very least might even be discriminating against the small investor. The discrimination factor concerns me the most, and would be due for legal clarification if the SEC decides to start discriminating against small investors. If the SEC decides to implement new regulations of leveraged and inverse funds, I would be inclined to file a legal injunction and let a court determine the reasoning for a change in the 100 years of free markets, for large and small investors.
