I have used leveraged funds for the past 8-10 years and view them as an important part of my portfolio and have not had any problems associated with them. They allow me to profit from growing markets and protect myself during downturns. Restrictions on my use of them will damage my ability to manage my retirement funds, therefore, I am against your proposed rule to make it more difficult and cumbersome to add these to my personal portfolios.
