It is not, nor should ever be, the role of the government to interfere with and limit the choices of consumers. Plenty of us investors could educate you on how ETFs, inverse ETFs, and leveraged ETFs benefit us as consumers. Moreover, it appears your plan will be setup to benefit the rich and burden the middle-class. Simply put, these types of ETFs allow someone like myself to survive a market downturn or to be able to take better advantage of market moves. I do not have the benefit of being able to buy into a large hedgefund, please do not take away the tools that I do have.
