I believe limiting the right to invest in leveraged and inverse funds is a direct attack on my freedom and the ability to choose how I invest my money. I have extensive investing experience and knowledge and as a citizen in the USA believe I should have the right to choose how I invest my money. Using leveraged and inverse funds has provided me with the ability to retire. Without such investments my ability to retire would not have been possible.
With freedom comes responsibility and part of that responsibility is gaining the knowledge to manage my money. If I am foolish and do not do so, that is also my right as a free person.
I have the right to smoke cigarettes that cause cancer. I have the right to become an alcoholic which will destroy my liver. I should have the right to not be limited to what I am able to use as investment vehicles with my money.
I implore you to allow me to continue to have the right and ability to invest in leveraged and inverse funds without any change from existing rules.
